My name is Daniel Addington and I live in Sydney, Australia.

I graduated last year from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology and Gender Studies.

For the past 12 months I have been working as an account manager in Advertising for a digital agency called The Topia Project. It’s been a blast and I have been fortunate enough to work on some innovative advertising campaigns, be involved in the development of incredible websites, and have met some extraordinary people along the way. I’ve always loved ‘ideas’, and to get a job where I can explore these in the business world is pretty sweet.

Now I’m going to travel the world to see what is out there before I come back to Sydney and settle into something long term.

I find it hard to switch off from the advertising world as I really love it and get bored when I’m not thinking, so I will most likely be doing some kind of work along the way.

I’ll be updating this blog as much as possible, though once my girlfriend joins me I probably won’t be lonely anymore. For now though I hope you enjoy reading thelonelytraveller.
